Thomas Pettersen will from October 2017 start as CEO at Prediktor AS. Pettersen will take over this position from Jeanette Larsen who has held this position the last two years. Larsen will now continue her previous role as CFO in the company.
Pettersen has an academic background from NTNU and has had various roles at Prediktor in the area of operational technologies (OT) since 2004. The last few years, Pettersen has had the position as manager of the Solutions business area.
“I am very much looking forward to take on the tasks to strengthen Prediktor’s position as a leading technology company in the area of developing and implementing systems and solutions for manufacturing intelligence. In a time where “everybody” is discussing industrial effectivization and talking about digitalization, automation, digital twins, analytics and so on, these are technologies we have been bringing to our clients since the company was founded 22 years ago”, says Pettersen. “We are experiencing an enormous demand from the industry to become more competitive by digitizing their value chains. Our experience, though, is that many of the industrial players are uncertain on how they should initiate this work. This is where Prediktor will play a leading role: Helping industry to realize the profit that lies in digitalization by utilizing our technology, experience and competence”.
«Thomas has been a high performing resource in Prediktor through many years, with very good results in areas of his responsibility that has varied from project management to heading our business unit for Industry 4.0 solution deliveries. The board of directors is very happy with Thomas accepting the new role. We are confident that he will lead the company well through an exciting journey in times when the whole manufacturing segment are confronted with new paradigms, and that Prediktor’s key role in these paradigms will become very visible. », says Espen Krogh, Chairman of the Board.
